Professional background and aspirations

What was your first job? 
Starting as an apprentice Panel beater which, I completed an apprenticeship in, in total I was a panel beater/automotive technician for eight years. 

How long have you worked for Parkland?
I have worked for Parkland for six years & it has been and still is a fantastic place to work.

What do you like most about the work we do here?

One of the things I absolutely love about my sales job is the opportunity to connect with people and build strong relationships. I genuinely enjoy engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and finding tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

What do you think makes our team culture unique?

We have a very diverse group here at Parkland and I think our diversity moulds us into an overall fantastic team. Our team has many different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, which enriches our collective knowledge and always brings fresh ideas to the table.

When did you start in the industry?

I started in the industry in 1999.

Fredrik Eklund from Million Dollar Listing.

What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?

What are your goals for the near future?
To have success & growth with Yamaha golf cart sales, making a significant impact in the industry, and becoming a recognized expert in this field of equipment.

What's one thing on your bucket list?
Wildlife safari in Africa: Witness the stunning beauty of African wildlife in their natural habitats by going on a safari in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, or South Africa.

What kind of music do you like?
I have an extensive interest in music; I like to delve into different cultures and styles of music. I explore classic rock bands and enjoy the intricacies of jazz improvisation and the energy of electronic dance music.

What's the best place you've travelled to?
Italy is an extraordinary country that has left a lasting impression on me, making it the best place I have ever visited. It is a nation that effortlessly combines rich history, breathtaking landscapes, delectable cuisine, and warm-hearted people.

What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?

I love listening to audiobooks; Audiobooks offer the convenience of listening to a book while I engage in other activities, whether it'scommuting, doing chores, or simply relaxing.

Share one thing you're learning now or learned recently:
I've just been learning about the moon, and it's very interesting! The moon has a diameter of approximately 2,159 miles (3,474 kilometres), making it about one-fourth the size of Earth. It is relatively close to our planet compared to other celestial bodies, which makes it appear large in our sky.

What are you passionate about?

Family and Friends – For me, family extends beyond blood relations and includes those individuals who have become an integral part of my life through deep bonds and unwavering support. Whether it's my parents, siblings, spouse, children, or close friends who feel like family, I hold them dear and treasure the moments we share.

What's the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?

My grandad once told me: "Sometimes the best thing said is nothing at all". 

Which historical figure would you most like to meet? 

I’ve always liked the thought of meeting Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519). He was an artist, inventor, and scientist during the Renaissance period. He was renowned for his artworks like the "Mona Lisa" and "The Last Supper".
